Dbeibah Discusses Medical Training Reforms with Libyan Medical Specialties Council

TRIPOLI -Prime Minister of Tripoli based government Abdulhamid Dbeibah met with officials from the Libyan Medical Specialties Council on Tuesday to discuss the council’s work, training programs, and the challenges facing medical education in Libya.

During the meeting, council officials presented their role in training and qualifying doctors, reviewed their training capacity and number of graduates, and highlighted the main difficulties affecting the education and training process.

Dbeibah reaffirmed his government’s support for the council and pledged to improve its capabilities and training environment. He said the goal is to better prepare specialist doctors and improve the quality of healthcare services across the country.
