
Benina Airport Receives British Foreign Office Delegation
The Director General of Benina International Airport, Counselor Saleh Jibril al-Amrouni, received a high-level delegation from the British Foreign Office on Wednesday, July 8. He was joined by the airport’s heads of security, passport control, and customs.
The meeting focused on strengthening civil aviation cooperation between Libya and the United Kingdom.
The delegation asked about entry and exit procedures, the security system, and how illegal migration cases are handled. They praised the airport’s security standards, its ongoing modernization, and its compliance with international civil aviation standards.
Al-Amrouni said the visit was an important step toward closer cooperation and new horizons in civil aviation between the two countries.
