
Libyan Interior Minister Holds Security Talks in Ankara
Libyan Interior Minister Imad al-Tarabulsi of the Tripoli-based Government of National Unity began an official visit to Ankara on Tuesday, holding a series of high-level meetings with Turkish political and security officials.
Al-Tarabulsi met with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, the head of Turkey’s intelligence service, Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya, and other senior security officials to discuss issues of mutual interest.
The discussions focused on proposals to waive visa requirements for Libyan citizens and simplify residency procedures for Libyans living in Turkey. The meetings also underscored the two countries’ efforts to deepen security cooperation and strengthen bilateral ties.
